Susie Brandt (Baltimore MD) has addressed a wide range of issues — domesticity, consumption, abundance, time, and devotion in her work. She earned a BFA from Philadelphia College of art in 1984 and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1987. Her work has been included in numerous solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally. In 2010, as a faculty member of the Fiber and Foundations Departments at Maryland Institute College of Art, she curated a retrospective exhibition of the work of Warren Seelig, former chair of fibers at the University of the Arts.
Susie Brandt will be in residence with G. J. Littlewood and Son.
